Sponsored by: WORKFORCE CENTRAL FLORIDA (WCF) and Osceola Energy Initiative (OEI), you might be eligible to participate in a 16-week Energy Efficiency and Retrofit Certification Program at NO COST TO YOU! The program entails four (4) weeks of in-class weatherization and energy retrofit training provided by the WCF and OEI partnership. Upon completion of the in-class training, you will be placed with a participating contractor for 12 weeks of paid job training to complete energy retrofits, upgrades, and other weatherization projects to give you hands on training at residences and businesses throughout the community.
The Energy Efficient Finance Program will give Osceola County residences and businesses access to loan funds for the improvements through this program.
It is MANDATORY that you attend the entire 16 week program and space is limited. In order to participate in the program, you must meet the following initial eligibility requirements:

- Prior building, construction, and/or building trade experience
- Must be an Osceola County resident - Bring 2 forms of documentation showing proof of FL residency to the orientation; Click here to download the TECO New Resident Affidavit for a list of accepted documents.
- Must have a valid Florida Drivers License
- Must be authorized to work in the US
- Must have a valid Social Security Number
- Must have personal means of transportation to and from remote job sites within Osceola County and Orange County
- Minimum of a high school diploma or GED
- No prior felony convictions or sex related offenses
- Unemployed/Underemployed/Income Restricted, etc...
- Fill out the "OEI Programs Interest Form" and select the Training and Job Placement option to be placed on the Interested Party list*
