Parking Garage Goes to Bid

Manhattan Kraft Construction, Inc. Invitation to Bid on Osceola County Parking Garage GMP

DESCRIPTION: Osceola County is planning to build a 830-car parking garage (approximately 334,000 SF) in Kissimmee beginning in June 2011 and finishing April 2012. The parking garage will have seven elevated parking levels over slab-on-grade on a 44,000 SF footprint. The parking garage will be a plant-cast concrete structure (NOT PART OF THIS BID) comprised of color-integral concrete exterior spandrels, full-brick clad exterior concrete panels, standard gray concrete interior structure, pre-topped double tees, and pre-cast concrete stairs. This job will be governed by the Davis-Bacon wage rates for Osceola County, Florida and will incorporate the Buy American Act.

Please refer to the DOCUMENTS tab; review and include in your bid; Manhattan Kraft Construction contractual requirements. If you have not submitted a Manhattan Kraft Prequalification Form within the last year, please submit with your proposal. The Prequal Form can be found under the Documents folder as well.

Gaylord-DreamWorks: A New Alliance

    Gaylord Entertainment and DreamWorks Animation SKG Inc. has unveiled a strategic alliance to expand Gaylord Hotels’ family-friendly leisure offerings to feature the DreamWorks Experience, the next generation of family vacation programming and world class entertainment.
     As part of this strategic alliance, Gaylord plans to offer unique leisure experiences for its guests featuring DreamWorks Animation’s iconic characters at all Gaylord properties. The live interactive experiences will include character breakfasts, newly themed Christmastime events, poolside activities in the summer, imaginative food-and-beverage offerings, private birthday parties, festive parades, merchandise and various themed entertainment.
