Kissimmee Impact Fees To Drop 27 Percent
This story from WFTV: Impact fees were so high in Kissimmee that some businesses couldn't afford to expand. Now, the city has agreed to drop impact fees by 27 percent. The Kissimmee City Commission hopes passing an amendment that lowers transportation impact fees by 27 percent will businesses out. A 10,000-square-foot building had to pay $192,130 in transportation impact fees. With the reduction, that would be cut to $140,000 in Kissimmee.
