Nicholson Center News

"Florida Hospital’s Nicholson Center for Surgical Advancement, which focuses on robotic surgery and training, will start construction by June for its new $35 million, 50,000-square-foot facility in ­Celebration. This will mean up to 75 new permanent jobs, as many as 350 temporary construction jobs....In this case, the center’s new permanent jobs will include 50 high-tech positions such as clinicians, technicians, product development specialists and project managers, with an average salary of $55,000. It also will include 25 administrative and research jobs. Hiring should begin in the second quarter of this year and continue through 2011. Read more here.
